The autonomous community of Castilla La Mancha, located at the very center of the Iberian Peninsula, is dominated by an extensive tableland, although with mountainous landscapes too.  It is in this region where the story of the famous Spanish novel Don Quijote by Miguel de Cervantes took place. Castilla La Mancha remains a symbol of Spanish culture, with its vineyards, olive trees, windmills, and Manchego cheese, among others. 

A full day to discover some of this region’s traditions and authenticity. A professional driver will pick you up in the morning at your own hotel in Madrid and will take you to a family estate farm located just about 100 km south of Madrid. You will visit this farm and their cheese factory producer of one of the best Manchego cheeses (with D.O. – Designation of Origin), made from their own sheep. Learn about the production process and taste their awarded cheeses.
Afterwards, visit a fantastic wine estate located in La Mancha, producer of high quality wines. Learn about wine elaboration through a guided visit of their vineyards to the wine bottling. Taste this winery’s great wines along with a typical tapa.
For lunch, enjoy a tasting menu at a nice Michelin star restaurant in the charming city of Aranjuez, located in the southern part of the Community of Madrid, with great horticulture plantations such as asparagus and strawberries, among others. Visit the Royal Palace and its gardens, some time at leisure that you will enjoy on your own. Return to Madrid in the afternoon.
